The habitat of Indian Long billed Vulture (Gyps indicus)
Six were sighted in Navegaon Forest Range (Maharashtra).
These birds are scavengers and thus are depended upon the Natural cycle of Life and death of living organisms. Such sightings are becoming rarer and rarer
These are the cleaners of our environment and are in serious trouble these days

The scarcity of carcasses and drugs administered to cattle are some of the major problems for Vultures. There is scarcity of cattle carcasses due to utilization of dead cattle for various purposes including human consumption. Drugs administered to cattle are found to be a cause of vulture decline. The vulture numbers have declined very rapidly.

Majestic Tiger

The ambassador of Indian Wildlife is facing severe problems. The land use pattern is changing, wildlife trade is increasing, the forests are getting fragmented, the habitat itself is decreasing. In such a scene will the Tigers survive? Not only tigers but will the wildlife survive?
To ensure the survival of wild animals we need to act in a scientific way. Not only do studies on them but also work for their conservation. There is need to bring studies on field and apply them. Adding science to conservation is what needed. Generating people's support is of great help. Make more and more people aware about the status of nature and environment because thats what will make a difference. I hope that the wildlife and their habitats remain secured forever.
This tigress was sighted in Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

Precious wildlife

Utilitarian values: The importance of wildlife and Nature can best be explained by our dependency on Mother Nature. Every basic necessity comes from her. So to study and conserve wildlife and nature is essential for better future.
But for me its totally Non-Utilitarian, i like and love wildlife because i just like and love wildlife !
